2. A grid reference is given for the start of all walks. (eg TQ 171520 is the grid reference for Ryka's car park at Burford Bridge at the base of Box Hill).

3. Two Surrey Street atlases show grid references (The Surrey Phillips OS and the A-Z for Surrey).

4. Please note that some National Trust car parks make a charge for non-members.
