2018 Walk Leaders Courses

We are always in need of more walk leaders. If you would like to learn more about what is involved take a look at these free courses available to Ramblers members from across Surrey at Wotton on Saturday 21 April and Saturday 18 August.

The training will comprise a morning session on leadership, walk planning, map reading and basic compass work, and an introduction to computer mapping and smart phone navigation apps, followed by an afternoon outdoor practical session. Click here for more information; or contact Fiona, who helps with the organisation of these courses. To book, please complete the form in the Members' area of the Surrey Ramblers website; Fiona or Dave S can advise about the log in process.
